Punjab Public Service Commission has invited online applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Assistant Director,Drugs Control Officer and Other posts. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview. The total number of vacancies is 22. Pay Scale:

• Drugs Control Officer   – 10300 – 34800/ + GP -4200/- Per month
• Assistant Director – 15600 – 39100/- + GP 5400 Per month
• Senior Scientific Officer (Drugs)-  15600 – 39100/- + GP 6600 Per month
• Senior Scientific Officer (Food Safety) – 15600 – 39100/- + GP 6600 Per month
• Analyst (Drugs) – 10300 – 34800/- + GP 4200 Per month

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Drugs Control Officer   –Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university or institution.
• Assistant Director – Degree in Engineering/Technology in any disciple or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution and Three years experience
• Senior Scientific Officer (Drugs)- Graduate in Medicine or Science or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a recognized university or institution.
• Senior Scientific Officer (Food Safety) – Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology, Food and Nutrition or Bachelor of Technology in Dairy/Oil or holds degree in Veterinary Sciences from a recognized university
• Analyst (Drugs) – Postgraduate degree in Medicine or Science or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Microbiology from a recognized university or institution

Age Limit: –

• 18 to 37 years

• Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only – 500(online application charge) + Rs. 625/- (Examination fee) = total – Rs. 1125/-
• Ex-Servicemen of Punjab state only – 500(online application charge) + Nil- (Examination fee) = total – Rs. 500/-
• All Others Categories – 500(online application charge) + Rs 2500- (Examination fee) = total – Rs. 3000/-
• Physically Handicapped, Punjab State only. – 500(online application charge) + Rs 1250- (Examination fee) = total – Rs. 1750/-
