Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited online applications from qualified candidates for Principal, Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) & Miscellaneous Category of Teachers Vacancy. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview. The total number of vacancies is 1616. Eligibility Criteria
- Principal – Master Degree from recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate and B.Ed or equivalent teaching degree and Persons having 15 years combined regular service as PGT.
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) – Master’s Degree from a recognized University in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) – Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects with Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and B.Ed. Degree.
- Miscellaneous Category of Teachers – Bachelors Degree with Music OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education OR Post Graduate Degree in Drawing and Painting, Fine Arts OR Bachelors Degree in Library Science.

- Principle- 50 years (As on 22-07-2022)
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)– 40 years (As on 22-07-2022)
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) – 35 years (As on 22-07-2022)
- Miscellaneous Category of Teachers – 35 years (As on 22-07-2022)

- For PGT – Rs 1800/-
- For TGTs & Miscellaneous Category Teachers – Rs 1500/-
- For SC/ST/PH candidates – No Fee
