Punjab Police Recruitment 2022 – Sub Inspector (SI) Vacancy

Punjab Police has invited online applications from qualified candidates for Sub Inspector (SI) Vacancy in the cadres of District Police, Armed Police, Investigation and Intelligence Cadre. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview/physical test. The total number of vacancies is 560. The applications have to be submitted online on the official website of  Punjab Police at www.punjabpolice.gov.in

• Sub Inspector (District Police cadre) – 87
• Sub Inspector (Armed Police cadre) – 97
• Sub Inspector (Intelligence Cadre) – 87
• Sub Inspector (Investigation Cadre) – 289

Pay Scale

• Rs 35400 – 112400/- Level-6

Eligibility Criteria

• For All Other cadre – Graduation from a recognized university or its equivalent.
• For Intelligence cadre – Graduation from a recognized university or its equivalent and O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology from NIELIT OR B.Sc/B.Tech/BE OR BCA and PGDCA.

Age Limit

• 18- 28 Years (As on 01-01-2021)

• For General – Rs 1500/-
  
• For Ex-Servicemen(ESM) – Rs 700/-
• For EWS/SC/ST and Backward Classes of Punjab State only – Rs 35/-
• Pay Examination Fee through Online.
