Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited online applications from qualified candidates for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Senior Translator vacancy. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview. The total number of vacancies is 307. Pay Scale
- Junior Translation Officer(JTO) – Rs.35,400- Rs.1,12,400/-
- Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) – Rs.35,400- Rs.1,12,400/-
- Junior Translator (JT) – Rs.35,400- Rs.1,12,400/-
- Senior Hindi Translator(SHT) – Rs.44,900- Rs.1,42,400/-
- Senior Translator(ST) – Rs.44,900- Rs.1,42,400/-
Eligibility Criteria
- Junior Translator/Senior Hindi Translator- Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level and Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work
- Junior Translator / Junior Hindi Translator – Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level, Or Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects

- 18- 30 years (as on 01.08.2023)
