Chandigarh Education Department has invited online applications from qualified candidates for Special Educator (JBT & TGT) Vacancy . The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written test and/or interview/physical test. The total number of vacancies is 96. - Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)- Special – 49
- JBT/ Primary Teacher (PRT)- Special – 47
Pay Scale
- TGT – Rs.9,300-Rs. 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4,600/-
- JBT – Rs.9,300-Rs. 34,800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University and
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.).
- Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the Guidelines framed by NCTE
