Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission(TNPSC) has invited Online applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Junior Scientific Officer Vacancy in in Forensic Sciences Department. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test or Interview.The total number of vacancies is 31. Pay Scale:
- Rs.36,900 – Rs. 1,35,100/–
Age Limit: –
- No Age Limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and DWs of all categories.
- 18 – 32 years (as on 01-07-2023)
Eligibility Criteria:-
- M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a Degree in the Subject, for the Group as shown in the Explanation below to which he/ she is appointed. (OR) M.Sc., Degree in the Subject for the Group as shown in the Explanation below to which he/ she is appointed. Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to person who holds a degree in M.Sc., (Forensic Science)

- For All Candidates – Rs.150/-
- Examination Fee
- For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, Destitute Widows, Differently Abled Persons, Ex-servicemen – No Fee
- For All Others – Rs 150
- Pay Examination fee through Net Banking/Credit card/ Debit card.
