Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  has invited online applications from qualified candidates for the posts of Assistant Geologist, Agricultural Engineer & Assistant Director vacancy. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Online Exam/Written Test or Interview.The total number of vacancies is 23. • Assistant Geologist in Geological Survey of India – 20
• Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation) – 01
• Assistant Director (Plant Pathology) – 02

Pay Scale:

• Assistant Geologist in Geological Survey of India – Level-8
• Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation) – Level-7
• Assistant Director (Plant Pathology) – Level-10

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Assistant Geologist- Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Geo-chemistry or Marine Geology or Earth Science & Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Area Studies (Coastal Geology) or Environmental Geology or Geo-informatics.
• Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation) – Degree in Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
• Assistant Director (Plant Pathology) – M.Sc. Degree in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology

Age Limit: –

• Assistant Geologist  – 30 years (as on 16-09-2021)
• Agricultural Engineer (Instrumentation) – 33 years (as on 16-09-2021)
• Assistant Director (Plant Pathology) – 35 years (as on 16-09-2021)

Application Fee:-

• For GEN/OBC/EWS –  Rs 25
• For SC/ST/PH/Women candidates – No Fee
• Pay Examination fee through Debit/credit card or Net Banking or challan in any branch of SBI.
